ACME Solar Holdings has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 190 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid project integrated with battery energy storage.
The agreement has been executed through ACME Solar’s subsidiary, ACME Urja One, at a tariff of ₹4.72 per unit. The project forms part of a larger 380 MW hybrid tranche and is designed to supply assured peak power, strengthening grid reliability and supporting India’s growing renewable energy demand.
Under the terms of the agreement, the 190 MW project will be developed with a 25-year PPA tenure and is scheduled to achieve commercial operation by February 27, 2028.
With the signing of this PPA, ACME Solar Holdings has expanded its total PPA-signed portfolio to 5,820 MW. Of this, 1,240 MW has been secured in the current financial year alone, reflecting the company’s strong project pipeline and execution momentum.
ACME Solar’s diversified portfolio includes solar, wind, hybrid, floating solar, and storage projects. The company currently has over 17 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) under construction, reinforcing its strategic focus on dispatchable and firm renewable energy solutions.
Leveraging its in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) capabilities, ACME Solar aims to ensure timely and cost-efficient project delivery while maintaining high operational performance standards.
The development underscores the accelerating adoption of hybrid renewable energy projects with integrated storage in India, supporting grid stability and contributing to the country’s broader clean energy transition goals.
