The newly commissioned capacity includes 251 MW at Baiya in Rajasthan and 700 MW at Khavda in Gujarat, developed through multiple step-down subsidiaries of the company. The projects comprise a mix of solar and hybrid power assets, contributing to diversified renewable generation.

Following this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 18,933.3 MW, reinforcing its position as one of the largest renewable energy players in India.

The company stated that, after receiving the necessary regulatory clearances, it formally declared the projects commercially operational on the night of March 29, 2026, with power generation commencing from March 30, 2026.

The update was disclosed to the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations.
