Cliantech Solutions has secured a major order from IB Solar to supply a 1.2 GW AI-driven solar module production line, reinforcing its position as a key enabler of advanced solar manufacturing in India.
The upcoming facility, expected to be commissioned by May 2026, will manufacture next-generation high-efficiency solar modules, including M10 TOPCon, M10R, and G12R variants.
This latest order builds on the existing partnership between the two companies, with Cliantech having already delivered 600 MW of module manufacturing capacity to IB Solar. With the addition of the new line, the total installed capacity provided by Cliantech to IB Solar will reach 1.8 GW.
The project will integrate advanced automation and inspection technologies sourced from global equipment providers, aimed at improving production precision, operational efficiency, and overall module quality.
IB Solar is leveraging this expansion to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and enhance its portfolio of high-performance solar modules. The company is also targeting a significant scale-up in capacity, with plans to reach 5 GW and pursue backward integration into solar cell manufacturing.
The repeat order highlights growing confidence in AI-driven and automated manufacturing solutions as India’s solar industry accelerates capacity expansion to meet rising demand from utility-scale and rooftop segments.
