Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has secured a major order from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) for the supply of 869 kilometres of next-generation ECO conductors, strengthening its role in supporting India’s renewable energy transmission infrastructure.
The contract, valued at approximately ₹31.51 crore, will support renewable power evacuation projects across multiple states, including Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. The conductors will be deployed in transmission networks designed to integrate renewable energy generation with the national grid.
ECO conductors are designed to handle higher power loads while reducing transmission losses and operating efficiently at higher temperatures. These advanced conductors are particularly suited for renewable energy corridors and high-capacity transmission systems required for large-scale solar and wind projects.
The order reflects the growing demand for advanced transmission technologies as India accelerates renewable energy deployment and strengthens grid infrastructure to accommodate increasing volumes of clean power.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has been expanding its portfolio of next-generation conductors, including ECO, AL-59, GAP, and HTLS conductors, aimed at improving grid efficiency and supporting the integration of renewable energy projects across the country.
