The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) — the apex industry association representing the electrical and power equipment manufacturing ecosystem in India — has announced the appointment of Hartek Singh as its Vice President for 2026.
Hartek Singh, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of the Hartek Group, brings extensive experience in the power systems, renewable energy, and distribution solutions sectors. His leadership is expected to further IEEMA’s efforts to drive growth, innovation, and transformation across India’s evolving power and energy landscape.
The announcement, shared on IEEMA’s official LinkedIn page, received strong support from industry peers and stakeholders, highlighting confidence in Singh’s vision and expertise to contribute meaningfully to the association’s strategic objectives.
IEEMA plays a pivotal role in representing over 950 member companies that contribute to more than 90% of the electrical equipment installed in India across power generation, transmission and distribution segments. The association actively engages with policymakers, technology leaders and global partners to support India’s transition towards a more reliable, sustainable and technologically advanced power ecosystem.
Under Singh’s vice-presidential leadership in 2026, IEEMA is expected to continue its focus on industry-wide initiatives including new energy adoption, smart grid technologies, electrification, export promotion and standards development, reinforcing India’s position as a key player in the global energy sector.
