The Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) joined as a Supporting Partner for the Global Cleantech Expo – Odisha 2026, Eastern India’s largest exposition on clean energy and sustainable mobility, to be held on 20–21 February 2026 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar.

The two-day exposition brings together industry leaders, policymakers, technology providers, investors, and innovators to deliberate on accelerating India’s clean energy transition. The event will showcase advancements across renewable energy, energy storage, electric mobility, green hydrogen, and sustainable infrastructure, while facilitating high-level discussions on enabling policy frameworks, domestic manufacturing growth, and grid readiness.

As the apex body representing India’s wind turbine manufacturers, IWTMA’s association with the Expo underscores the growing importance of wind energy in strengthening India’s renewable ecosystem, particularly in emerging markets such as Eastern India. The platform provides an opportunity to highlight the role of wind power in delivering balanced, round-the-clock renewable energy and supporting grid stability.

Speaking on this association, Aditya Pyasi, CEO of IWTMA, said, “India’s renewable energy ambitions require a diversified and balanced approach. Wind energy will play a critical role in delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective clean power, particularly as we move towards hybrid and storage-integrated solutions. Platforms such as the Global Cleantech Expo – Odisha enable meaningful dialogue between industry and policymakers, helping unlock regional potential and strengthen India’s domestic manufacturing ecosystem.”

Eastern India presents significant untapped wind and hybrid energy potential, supported by improving transmission infrastructure and increasing industrial demand for green power. As India accelerates toward its 2030 renewable energy targets, collaborative platforms such as this Expo are crucial in aligning industry, policy, and investment priorities.

IWTMA’s participation as a Supporting Partner reinforces its continued commitment to advancing wind energy deployment, strengthening indigenized manufacturing, and contributing to policy dialogue that supports India’s long-term decarbonisation and energy security goals.
