Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading solar module manufacturers and EPC players, is proud to announce its collaboration with Mafatlal Industries Ltd. (MIL), the flagship of the Arvind Mafatlal Group and one of India’s oldest and most respected textile institutions.

The partnership marks a major leap toward sustainable industrial operations as Mafatlal undertakes a decisive shift to renewable energy at its Nadiad manufacturing facility.

Mafatlal has consistently pursued innovation, modernisation, and long-term growth while embedding responsible and sustainable thinking at the core of its business for over a century. As India’s energy transition gains national importance, the commissioning of this solar power project marks a natural progression of that legacy, demonstrating the Group’s commitment to strengthening energy efficiency, enhancing resilience, and advancing an environmentally responsible future for the Indian textile industry.

Under this collaboration, Kosol Energie will install a 4 MW ground-mounted solar power plant at Mafatlal’s Nadiad factory.

Designed to significantly reduce grid dependence, the plant will generate approximately 6.5 million units of clean energy annually.

This transition substantially cut dependence on conventional grid electricity and supports Mafatlal’s long-term sustainability roadmap, enabling the company to reduce its operational carbon footprint and contribute meaningfully toward India’s renewable energy goals.

Project Highlights
