Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd., a Grade-A Top Tier-1 Global Solar Manufacturer and one of India’s Leading integrated solar EPC and module manufacturing companies, has successfully airlifted approximately 100 tons of high-efficiency solar cells via a specially chartered cargo aircraft to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The successful arrival of this large-scale shipment marks a significant milestone in the company’s execution and supply chain capabilities.
This strategic airlift was undertaken to support critical project timelines and ensure uninterrupted supply for customers across utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) segments. By executing such a large-volume shipment through air logistics, Kosol Energie has demonstrated its ability to respond swiftly to dynamic project requirements while maintaining continuity across multiple ongoing installations.
In an environment characterized by global supply fluctuations, extended transit timelines, and logistical uncertainties, Kosol Energie adopted a proactive approach by leveraging expedited logistics solutions. The successful mobilization of a dedicated chartered aircraft reflects strong global sourcing capabilities, well-established supplier relationships, and the operational strength required to execute time-sensitive decisions at scale.
By choosing air freight over conventional shipping methods, Kosol Energie prioritized speed, reliability, and customer commitments despite significantly higher logistics costs. This ensured that project execution timelines remained intact, enabling timely commissioning and minimizing potential delays. Such initiatives reinforce the trust placed in Kosol by independent power producers (IPPs), developers, and institutional customers.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Kalpesh Kalthia, CMD of Kosol Energie, said,“At Kosol, commitment to our customers goes beyond words; it is reflected in every decision we take. This airlift is a testament to our ability to act swiftly, adapt to challenges, and ensure that our customers’ projects are delivered on time, without compromise.”
With over 15 years of experience in the solar EPC industry, expanding manufacturing capacity, and a growing portfolio of large-scale solar EPC projects, Kosol Energie continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in India’s renewable energy landscape. The successful execution of this airlift further underscores the company’s reputation for on-time delivery and its resilience in navigating complex supply chain environments.
Kosol Energie remains firmly committed to its core philosophy of delivering excellence under all circumstances. This milestone stands as a testament to the company’s unwavering focus on execution, customer satisfaction, and its mission to power India’s clean energy transition with reliability, speed, and precision.
