KP Group Launches New SR-Shuttle Link Technology at REI Expo 2025 in Greater Noida

KP Group launches SR-Shuttle Link, a smart automated solar cleaning rail system, at Renewable Energy India Expo 2025 in Greater Noida.
KP Group debuts the SR-Shuttle Link — a fully automated solar cleaning transfer system enhancing efficiency, uptime, and scalability for large solar farms. Showcased at Renewable Energy India Expo 2025, this innovation marks another milestone in KP Group’s commitment to advancing clean energy technologies.

KP Group, one of India’s leading renewable energy conglomerates, launched its latest innovation, the SR-Shuttle Link, at the Renewable Energy India Expo 2025. Visitors can experience this breakthrough technology at Hall No. 8, Stall No. R1530, from October 30 to November 1 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

The SR-Shuttle Link is a smart, fully automated rail system designed to seamlessly transfer solar cleaning robots between rows of panels, delivering hands-free, high-efficiency cleaning across large solar farms. Featuring intelligent tracking, self-charging capability, and precision alignment via integrated position sensors, the SR-Shuttle Link enables uninterrupted, autonomous operation, maximizing energy yield and OM efficiency while minimizing manual intervention.

Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, commented, “As India advances towards ambitious renewable energy targets, innovations like the SR-Shuttle Link improve operational efficiency and sustainability for large-scale solar projects. We believe this technology will empower solar developers and operators by ensuring greater efficiency, lower operational costs, and enhanced energy output, paving the way for a cleaner, more reliable future. KP Group remains devoted to enabling transformative advancements that support both our nation’s clean energy and environmental goals.”

The SR-Shuttle Link offers fully automated mobility by transferring the SR2000 series robot between rows without any manual handling and features an auto-adaptive design with adjustable height and tilt for compatibility across different tracker structures. Its integrated auto-alignment control uses advanced sensors for precise positioning with each row, while each unit is capable of handling 5–6 rows (spanning 700–800 meters), enabling scalability for larger solar farms. The system is equipped with a self-charging power dock, allowing it to operate energy-independently and maintenance-free, and its design ensures enhanced uptime via continuous, hands-free cleaning cycles for maximum operational efficiency.

KP Group is actively investing and expanding into next-gen clean energy domains such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, energy storage systems, floating solar, and advanced mobility solutions. Through KPI Green Hydrogen & Ammonia, the Group is developing a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility leveraging clean energy as feedstock. Simultaneously, the Group is advancing in energy-storage technologies and floating-solar infrastructure to complement its solar and wind footprint, positioning itself as a versatile enabler of India’s net-zero ambitions.
