Battery Smart, India’s largest battery-swapping network for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, and Lilypad, the country’s newest digital marketplace for two-wheeler EVs, announce a collaborative partnership.
The collaboration aims to accelerate electric two-wheeler (E2W) adoption across Delhi NCR by making EV ownership more accessible, affordable, and convenient.
As part of the partnership, battery-less electric two-wheelers will now be available on Lilypad’s website, seamlessly integrated into Battery Smart’s extensive battery-swapping network. This approach lowers upfront vehicle costs and eliminates challenges related to charging time and battery maintenance. During an initial three-month activation campaign, Lilypad plans to sell around 1,000 vehicles powered by Battery Smart’s ecosystem, setting the stage for rapid scale-up in 2026.
An on-ground initiative is set to launch across Noida and Greater Noida from October to December 2025, introducing consumers firsthand to the benefits of swappable battery technology. Given the region’s strong base of students and young professionals, the initiative is expected to significantly increase E2W uptake among cost-conscious and sustainability-driven riders furthering Delhi NCR’s transition to cleaner, smarter mobility.
