12 Mar 2024

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) recently said that 1,000 MW of solar power capacity has been put into service at the world's largest RE park located in Khavda, Gujarat. A report states that the construction curve is in line with the plan to develop 30 GW in Khavda within the next five years. The plant will be equipped with water-based robotic module cleaning systems.

It said, “AGEL has committed to deploying waterless cleaning robots for the entire solar capacity to tackle the problem of dust accumulation on panels to help increase energy production and conserve water in the arid Kutch region.”

India will produce approximately 81 billion units, which will power over 16 million homes every year, and energy production will provide electricity to entire countries like Belgium, Chile, and Switzerland, it further added.
The company plans to reach its target of 45,000 MW by 2030, with an operational capacity of 9,478 MW, the report said. Over 15,200 green jobs will be created by the project, which is anticipated to be finished in the next five years.
