SECI has extended the submission date of 100 MW bids for floating solar projects in Jharkhand

State-owned SECI on Friday extended the date for submission of bids for a 100 MW floating solar project in Jharkhand till October 31. The starting date for the submission of bids was October 10. The revised date and time of bid submission are till 2 p.m. SECI said in a notification that the bids will be opened at 2.30 p.m. on October 31. The scope of work includes “Design, Engineering, Supply, Fabrication, Erection, Testing, and commissioning of 100 MW (AC) Floating Solar PV Projects at Getalsud Dam, Ranchi, with a 10-year Plant O&M (Operation and Maintenance)”, it said. However, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) did not provide information about the reason for revising the bid submission date. SECI, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, is a nodal agency of the Central Government for the auction of renewable energy projects.
