NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has declared commercial operation of an additional 125 MW capacity at the 500 MW Bhadla Solar PV Project in Rajasthan.
The commissioning follows a certificate issued by the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RREC) on 3 February 2026, confirming that the second phase of 125 MW at the project site in Phalodi achieved commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hours on 31 January 2026.
With this addition, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has reached 8,688.25 MW. The Group’s overall installed capacity has now increased to 8,813.25 MW, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.
