PIXON Receives ALMM Approval for 2.391 GW Solar Module Manufacturing Capacity

PIXON, one of India’s growing solar module manufacturers, has received ALMM approval for a total solar module manufacturing capacity of 2.391 GW, further strengthening its position in India’s renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem.

PIXON has recently expanded its manufacturing capacity to 1.6 GW, and the latest ALMM approval further strengthens this growth journey. The approval includes 1.646 GW capacity for TOPCon modules, covering M10R and G12R formats, along with 745 MW capacity for Mono PERC modules. With this approval, PIXON’s listed module capacity under ALMM reflects its continued focus on quality, reliability, and future-ready solar technology.

This development comes at a time when India’s solar sector is moving towards stronger domestic manufacturing, higher-efficiency module technologies, and quality-led deployment. PIXON’s inclusion of TOPCon capacity, including M10R and G12R formats, highlights the company’s readiness to support largescale solar projects with advanced module solutions.

Commenting on the milestone, PIXON CEO Rajendra Kankal stated, “Receiving ALMM approval for 2.391 GW is a significant milestone for PIXON. It reflects our commitment to manufacturing excellence, technology advancement, and India’s clean energy mission.”

The ALMM framework, issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), serves as a regulatory mechanism that lists approved solar photovoltaic module models and manufacturers in India. As per MNRE guidelines, ALMM List-I includes solar PV modules, while List-II covers solar PV cells, ensuring quality compliance in the sector.
