The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) with GEAPP ServiceCo (India) Private Limited to explore collaboration in key areas supporting India’s clean energy transition.
The SoI was exchanged between Shri Akash Tripathi, Managing Director, SECI, and Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Vice President – India, GEAPP ServiceCo (India) Private Limited, in the presence of senior officials from SECI. On behalf of SECI, the agreement was signed by Shri Prashant Soni, Deputy General Manager (Project Monitoring), under the overall guidance of Shri Sivakumar V Vepakomma, Director (Power Systems), SECI.
The proposed collaboration will focus on renewable energy integration and grid strengthening, energy transition planning, and utility digitisation, along with the adoption of emerging clean energy technologies. The partnership also envisages capacity building, knowledge sharing, and the development of analytical tools and frameworks to support the evolving needs of India’s power sector.
The initiative is aligned with India’s national priorities on energy security, sustainability, and climate action, and reflects SECI’s continued efforts to work with global and domestic partners to accelerate the country’s clean energy transition.
