“Being named ‘Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025’ is both an honour and a responsibility. It validates the direction we have taken but also motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.”

How does Grew Solar’s module design optimise energy yield and reliability in India’s high-temperature and dusty conditions?

India’s solar conditions are demanding high temperatures, dust, and long operating hours. At GREW Solar, our module design is optimised specifically for this reality. We use advanced cell architecture with a low temperature coefficient to reduce power loss during extreme heat, ensuring higher energy yield. At the same time, our modules are built with strong glass, durable encapsulation, and rigorous IEC-standard testing to protect against dust and environmental stress. This combination allows our modules to deliver consistent performance and long-term reliability, even in India’s harsh operating conditions.

How does backward integration across manufacturing stages help improve quality control and product consistency?

For us, deeper integration across manufacturing is about accountability and consistency. When more of the process is managed in-house, we have clearer visibility into materials, processes, and performance at every stage. This allows our teams to maintain uniform standards, reduce variability, and address issues early rather than downstream. Ultimately, it helps us deliver products that are not just high in quality, but also consistent and dependable in real-world conditions.

With the appointment of Divyanshu Parnami as National Sales Head for mid-market and distribution channels, how do you see closer integration between technical product development and sales/market strategy helping you address customer requirements more effectively?

Divyanshu’s appointment gives us an exciting opportunity to bring our market-facing and technical teams even closer. When product development and sales work hand in hand, we can translate real customer experiences into solutions that truly matter. This alignment ensures our products evolve with the market, our value propositions remain clear, and we stay ahead in delivering what customers need.

What roles do automation and digital monitoring play in maintaining quality at scale?

Automation and digital monitoring are critical to maintaining consistent quality at scale. Automated processes reduce manual errors and ensure every product is manufactured with the same precision and standards. At the same time, digital monitoring allows real-time tracking of key parameters across the production line, helping us identify deviations early and take corrective action quickly. Together, these systems enable reliable quality control, higher efficiency, and consistent product performance as we scale manufacturing

How will partnerships like the RCB Women’s team help build wider awareness of solar technology and clean energy?

Sports have an incredible power to engage people emotionally, and partnering with the RCB Women’s team allows us to bring clean energy into conversations that go beyond the usual technical or industry circles. It gives us a platform to reach a diverse audience of fans, young talent, and families, and make sustainability relatable and aspirational. Through such partnerships, we can highlight the practical benefits of solar energy, inspire people to think about renewable solutions in their daily lives, and reinforce the message that clean energy is not just a technology, it’s an integral part of India’s growth story and future.

How is Grew Solar aligning product development with evolving mid-market and distribution needs?

Our mid-market and distribution partners operate in a dynamic environment with evolving expectations from performance and reliability to speed of deployment and availability. At GREW Solar, we ensure that product development is closely guided by insights from these partners, so our solutions meet real-world requirements. This approach allows us to design products that are not only high-performing and durable but also practical and easy to deploy. By staying connected with the market, we can anticipate needs, deliver consistent outcomes, and empower customers and distributors to successfully execute their projects with confidence.

How does the ‘Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025’ recognition shape your technology and sustainability roadmap?

Being named ‘Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025’ is both an honour and a responsibility. It validates the direction we have taken but also motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. This recognition reinforces our commitment to developing technology that is reliable, scalable, and environmentally responsible. It also strengthens our focus on sustainable manufacturing practices, ensuring that every product we bring to market reflects our dedication to long-term industry leadership and India’s clean energy future.
