WattPower Expands Manufacturing Capacity to 11 GW with Advanced Technology Integration

WattPower, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, has enhanced its manufacturing capabilities through advanced technology integration, increasing its production capacity to 11 GW. The development marks a key step in the company’s efforts to scale operations and support the growing demand for solar infrastructure across India.

Since commencing operations in India in 2022 with its manufacturing facility in Chennai, WattPower has steadily expanded its presence in the country’s renewable energy sector. Over the past years, the company has supplied a total of 24 GW of utility-scale string inverters, supporting solar deployments across large-scale projects and distributed energy installations.

The company’s Chennai manufacturing facility has operated at an annual production capacity of 10 GW, serving solar projects across multiple segments. With the latest integration of advanced production technologies and process optimization, WattPower is now increasing its manufacturing capacity to 11 GW, enabling higher production efficiency and improved responsiveness to market demand.

WattPower’s inverter solutions have been deployed across a wide range of solar installations, including projects developed by leading renewable energy companies as well as state-level initiatives such as PM-KUSUM, along with captive solar projects in states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

Commenting on the development, Divya Prakash Choraria, CEO and co-founder, said, “India’s solar sector continues to grow at a rapid pace, creating strong demand for reliable and efficient power electronics. By strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and integrating advanced technologies into our production processes, we are well-positioned to support the next phase of renewable energy growth in the country.”

With solar adoption accelerating across India, WattPower continues to focus on strengthening its manufacturing capabilities, expanding its product portfolio, and supporting large-scale renewable energy deployment across the country.
