Bluebird Solar Private Limited has commissioned a 1.3 GW AI-driven photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, significantly expanding its production capabilities. With this addition, the company’s total installed module manufacturing capacity has increased to 2.5 GW per annum.
The newly operational plant is equipped with fully automated production lines and advanced quality control systems. It manufactures ALMM-compliant n-type TOPCon and Mono PERC solar modules certified by BIS and IEC standards, ensuring high efficiency and reliability. The expansion is aligned with projects under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) framework and supports the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative in the renewable energy sector.
Backed by over four decades of industry experience, Bluebird Solar produces a wide range of modules including polycrystalline, mono PERC, half-cut, and TOPCon technologies. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers turnkey EPC services, rooftop solar solutions, and government liaisoning support, strengthening its integrated solar capabilities.
The commissioning of this AI-enabled facility marks a major step in bolstering India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem, positioning the company to cater to rising demand across utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), and rooftop solar segments.
