Jignesh Rathod has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Whole-Time Director of Waaree Group, effective March 21, 2026. His elevation marks a significant leadership transition as the company prepares for its next phase of global expansion and operational growth.
Previously serving as CEO-Designate, Dr. Rathod will now lead Waaree’s strategic direction, oversee large-scale manufacturing operations, and drive the adoption of next-generation solar technologies to strengthen the company’s position in the global renewable energy market.
With nearly two decades of experience at Waaree Energies, Dr. Rathod has played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leading solar manufacturing powerhouse. Since joining the organization in 2007, he has been closely involved in scaling operations and enhancing execution capabilities across projects.
In his earlier role as Director of Operations, he led the modernization of manufacturing facilities and championed the integration of advanced automation technologies. His deep expertise in solar manufacturing, combined with strong academic grounding in business administration, positions him to steer Waaree’s future growth and innovation agenda.
