Roofsol Energy has commissioned two rooftop solar projects with a combined capacity of 6 MWp for Greenlam Industries across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, further strengthening its presence in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy segment.
The projects include a 4 MWp rooftop solar installation at Greenlam Industries’ manufacturing facility in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, developed under the OPEX model, along with a 2 MWp project in Tamil Nadu. With this latest commissioning, the cumulative solar capacity executed by Roofsol Energy for Greenlam Industries has reached 8 MWp.
According to the company, the 4 MWp installation is expected to offset nearly 4,800 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually while delivering reliable power generation and long-term energy cost savings through high-efficiency solar modules and advanced inverter technology.
The development highlights the growing adoption of rooftop solar solutions among industrial manufacturers seeking sustainable and cost-efficient energy alternatives. It also reinforces Roofsol Energy’s position as a leading provider of customized solar solutions under both CAPEX and OPEX models for the C&I sector in India.
