Sol-Bright has signed a contract with Continuum Green Energy for the supply of its advanced water-free robotic solar panel cleaning systems for 225 MWp of solar projects in Rajasthan. The deployment is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026.
Under the agreement, Sol-Bright will provide a combination of its latest Fully Automatic and Semi-Automatic robotic cleaning solutions, specifically designed for 2P fixed-tilt solar module structures. The water-free cleaning technology is expected to enhance operational efficiency while reducing water consumption, a critical advantage for solar projects located in arid regions such as Rajasthan.
The partnership reflects the growing importance of automated operations and maintenance solutions in the utility-scale solar sector, where maintaining optimal module performance is essential for maximizing energy generation and project returns. Robotic cleaning systems have increasingly become a preferred choice for large solar installations due to their ability to improve cleaning efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and minimize water usage.
Continuum Green Energy is among India’s leading renewable energy platforms, focused on developing, owning, and operating utility-scale wind, solar, and hybrid power projects. Since its establishment in 2009, the company has built a strong presence in the renewable energy sector, supplying clean power to utilities and commercial and industrial consumers. Continuum currently operates approximately 2.7 GW of renewable energy capacity, with an additional 1.5 GW under construction and development. The company is also actively advancing hybrid and storage-integrated renewable energy solutions to deliver round-the-clock green power.
Sol-Bright is recognized as a pioneer in automatic robotic dry-cleaning technology for solar modules and has emerged as one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of robotic solar cleaning systems. Since 2013, the company has deployed its technology across nearly 50 GWp of solar capacity worldwide. Its solutions are currently operational across multiple international markets, including India, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Australia, the United States, France, Chile, Argentina, Kenya, and several other countries.
The latest contract further strengthens Sol-Bright’s presence in the Indian solar market while highlighting the increasing adoption of intelligent, water-efficient technologies that support sustainable operations of large-scale renewable energy assets.
