EMO Energy Expands into Heavy Commercial Vehicle Segment with Intelligent Battery Platform

EMO Energy has announced its expansion into the Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) segment with an intelligent battery platform designed for electric buses, trucks, and heavy-duty commercial fleets.

Built for high-uptime operations, the platform integrates advanced battery systems, fast charging, thermal management, and AI-powered battery intelligence into a single solution. It is engineered to address key challenges in commercial electrification, including downtime, overheating, charging delays, and battery degradation.

Supporting high-voltage systems of up to 800V, the platform enables fast charging in under 30 minutes and is compatible with both LFP and NMC cell chemistries. Its core features include modular battery architecture, immersion cooling thermal systems, smart BMS, cell-level health tracking, predictive diagnostics, advanced safety systems, vehicle-specific customization, and EMO Energy’s AI intelligence layer, SENS.

The platform is designed for a range of HCV and high-utilization commercial EV applications, including electric buses, heavy-duty trucks, freight and logistics fleets, and construction and industrial vehicles.

Unlike conventional battery solutions focused only on capacity, EMO Energy’s platform is centered on battery intelligence, uptime, and long-term reliability. The company’s approach is aimed at improving fleet efficiency, lowering downtime, and enhancing total cost of ownership. It also supports second-life battery ecosystem capabilities.

EMO Energy already works with commercial EV OEMs to develop integrated battery systems, charging systems, thermal systems, and AI-powered battery intelligence solutions for commercial mobility applications. The HCV expansion strengthens the company’s position in commercial electrification and opens up broader deployment opportunities across logistics and public transport fleets.

“The future of commercial EVs will be defined not just by battery capacity, but by battery intelligence. At EMO Energy, we’re building intelligent battery systems that help commercial fleets achieve higher uptime, faster charging, and long-term reliability at scale,” said Sheetanshu Tyagi the Founder & CEO of EMO Energy.
