K.P. Energy Receives LOI for 42 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project in Karnataka

K.P. Energy Limited (KPEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Emmvee Energy Private Limited for setting up a 42 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project under the Group Captive arrangement in Karnataka.

The proposed project comprises 21 MW of wind capacity and 21 MWp of solar capacity, taking the aggregate project size to 42 MW. The project is proposed to be commissioned to meet the captive power requirements of Emmvee Energy Private Limited’s manufacturing facilities in Karnataka.

The LOI marks K.P. Energy’s first order in Karnataka, representing a step in the company’s geographical expansion beyond its core markets. The development also strengthens its presence in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Group Captive renewable energy segment.

As per the disclosure, the order has been awarded by Emmvee Energy Private Limited, a domestic entity, and is in the form of a Letter of Intent. The aggregate order size is 42 MW, comprising 21 MW of wind and 21 MWp of solar capacity.

The project execution timeline will be determined in accordance with the timeline mutually agreed upon under the definitive agreement.
