At the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, GoodWe announced the launch of its ESA 125kW/261kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), expanding its portfolio of energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. The launch underscores the company’s commitment to supporting India’s evolving energy landscape with solutions designed to enhance energy flexibility, reliability, and renewable energy integration.
The ESA Series is suited to a wide range of use cases, including factories, commercial complexes and other grid-connected or off-grid applications. It integrates the Power Conversion System (PCS), battery cells, Energy Management System (EMS) and Battery Management System (BMS) in a single cabinet, which simplifies installation, operation and maintenance while allowing flexible capacity expansion. The system scales from hundreds of kilowatt-hours to multi-megawatt-hours, supporting up to 15 units in parallel for a total capacity of up to 3.91MWh in on-grid scenarios.
At the expo, GoodWe also presented a full range of energy storage technologies, from residential systems to large-scale utility projects.
A Comprehensive Portfolio of Energy Storage Solutions
Alongside the launch, GoodWe presented a full range of energy storage and solar solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale needs.
AC ESS 2MW/4MWh: Utility-Scale Energy Storage
The AC ESS 2MW/4MWh offers a one-stop integrated solution with in-house-developed battery, PCS, EMU and MVS components in a 20-foot containerized design that enables easier transportation and fast deployment. With 90.5% round-trip efficiency, a 7% increase in lifetime energy throughput and an AC/DC-separated architecture, it improves project returns while enhancing safety and simplifying maintenance. The UT Series complements this offering for large renewable energy projects and grid-connected installations.
Residential Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions — ES Uniq + Lynx A G3 and ET LV + Lynx A G4
GoodWe showcased its residential hybrid energy storage portfolio, featuring the ES Uniq + Lynx A G3 and ET LV + Lynx A G4 solution. Designed to integrate solar power, battery storage, and intelligent energy management, these solutions highlighted the potential for greater energy independence, efficient solar utilization, and reliable power supply for modern homes.
GT Series: Supporting Commercial and Industrial Solar Applications
Complementing its energy storage portfolio, GoodWe also highlighted the GT Series string inverter for C&I solar applications. As solar generation and energy storage increasingly work together to improve energy utilization and system performance, efficient and reliable PV inverters remain essential to building integrated energy solutions. Designed to enhance productivity and deliver high power density, the GT Series features 8/10 MPPTs, a high input current of 21A per DC string and a maximum efficiency of 99.0%, helping maximize energy yield from high-power PV modules. String-level monitoring and an optional PID recovery function further support system performance, while Type II surge protection on both the AC and DC sides provides added protection against lightning-related surges.
