Bondada Engineering Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB), Government of Goa, for a proposed investment of about Rs 3,000 crore in solar energy and biogas projects in the state. The MoU was signed on October 30, 2026. The company said it is expected to generate more than 700 employment opportunities.
Under the MoU, Goa-IPB has agreed to help the Bondada Group obtain the permissions, registrations, approvals and clearances needed to set up and begin operating the proposed projects. The board will also facilitate access to eligible fiscal and non-fiscal incentives available under Goa’s prevailing policies and regulations.
The company noted that the MoU is non-binding. The proposed investments and projects remain subject to further evaluation, statutory approvals, clearances and other formalities.
Bondada said the projects are aligned with the Government of India’s vision of promoting renewable energy, sustainable development and energy security. The company said the initiative reflects its continued focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio, creating employment and contributing to India’s sustainable infrastructure development.
