In a major move to advance clean energy and e-mobility in Gujarat, KP Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat as part of the Investment Promotion Activity under the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences.
Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), KP Group will invest ₹8,000 crore to develop hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) fuel stations across Gujarat. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen the state’s clean energy ecosystem and accelerate the expansion of EV infrastructure. The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 new jobs and is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
The Government of Gujarat, through the Energy & Petrochemicals Department, will extend full support in facilitating all necessary permissions, approvals, and clearances to ensure the smooth execution of the project, in accordance with prevailing state policies and regulations.
The signing of the MoU marks yet another significant milestone in Gujarat’s ongoing journey to establish itself as a leading global hub for green energy and electric mobility. This development underscores the state’s strong commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and a cleaner, greener future
