KP Group announced that its subsidiaries (KPI Green Energy Limited, KP Energy Limited, and KP Green Engineering Limited) have signed a Framework Agreement with Senvion India.
Senvion India is a prominent wind turbine manufacturer, strategically owned by Global Renewable Energy Development Holding Company Limited (GREDHCL), based in Dubai, and an investment arm of the Alfanar Group.
Under a strategic multi-year agreement, KP Group and Senvion will collaborate to develop up to 2 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid renewable energy projects across several states in India over the next three years. This partnership leverages KP Group’s expertise in project development and Balance of Plant (BoP) execution, alongside Senvion’s cutting-edge, bankable turbine technology.
Together, they aim to accelerate the implementation of large-scale, highly reliable renewable energy projects, driving significant advancements in India’s clean energy transition.
KP Group will oversee site identification, land acquisition, obtain all necessary statutory approvals, and manage the complete Balance of Plant (BoP) execution. This includes civil works, internal infrastructure, electrical systems, and grid evacuation up to the interconnection points. Senvion India will supply the wind turbine generators for these projects under project-specific supply agreements.
