Waaree Transpower, a key enabler in India’s clean energy infrastructure ecosystem, has achieved a major industry milestone by securing IDT orders exceeding INR 100 crore within the first month of launch.

The orders, aggregating 1275 MVA (1.27 GW), have been placed by a leading Solar EPC company for deployment across high-capacity solar projects nationwide.

This achievement comes at a time when India is witnessing its fastest-ever renewable expansion, having added over 10+ GW of solar capacity in FY25 alone and targeting 50 GW annual renewable additions to meet the 500 GW non-fossil capacity goal by 2030. As developers scale aggressively, demand for high-efficiency, grid-resilient electrical infrastructure has surged- placing Waaree Transpower at the forefront of critical national capacity building.

Waaree Transpower’s Inverter Duty Transformers (IDTs) – engineered to withstand high-frequency switching, harmonic-rich environments, and variable irradiation conditions- have become a preferred choice for developers seeking long-term reliability, stable power evacuation, and superior grid compliance.

“Crossing the 1.27 GW mark in transformer orders within a month is a strong endorsement of Waaree Transpower’s capability to support India’s fast-growing solar ecosystem. This milestone reflects our team’s engineering excellence, disciplined execution, and customer centricity. As India expands its renewable capacity at record speed, we are committed to delivering reliable, grid-resilient electrical infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of developers and strengthens the nation’s clean energy transition.” – Mr. Ankit Doshi, Director, Waaree Transpower.

Waaree Transpower continues to strengthen India’s solar backbone with a landmark 1.27 GW order secured within a single month, reflecting the rapid pace of renewable energy expansion in the country and reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted partner for large-scale solar infrastructure. The transformers will be deployed across multiple states for utility-scale projects, supporting India’s growing pipeline of over 70 GW under development, while enhancing grid stability, improving power evacuation, and enabling higher renewable energy penetration.

Engineered for next-generation string and central inverter architectures, Waaree Transpower’s high-performance inverter duty transformers (IDTs) deliver lower energy losses, superior thermal management, enhanced durability in high-temperature environments, and improved system uptime—ensuring long-term reliability and performance for solar developers.
