ADM Solar Power has taken a major step toward sustainable manufacturing by signing a 10 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) under the Open Access Captive mode with Avener Green Pvt. Ltd.
This strategic partnership strengthens ADM’s clean energy commitment. The solar power generated under the agreement will be used to power ADM’s solar module and solar cell manufacturing unit in Aligarh, significantly reducing dependence on conventional grid power.
The 10 MW captive solar power plant will supply reliable, cost-effective, and green electricity to ADM’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This move aligns with ADM’s long-term vision of building a low-carbon, energy-efficient solar manufacturing ecosystem in India.
By opting for open access captive solar power, ADM will not only achieve substantial energy cost savings but also ensure price stability and energy security for its high-capacity production lines.
This partnership directly supports the Government of India’s “Make in India” and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives by promoting clean energy usage within domestic manufacturing. The transition to solar-powered operations will help ADM lower its carbon footprint while setting a strong benchmark for sustainability in the solar manufacturing sector itself.
Avener Green Pvt. Ltd., known for its expertise in utility-scale and open access solar projects, will develop and supply power from the captive solar plant, ensuring high performance, long-term reliability, and regulatory compliance.
