GREW Solar Secures Solar Module Supply Order from NTPC REL Valued at Over INR 2,000 Crore

India’s clean energy landscape is witnessing rapid momentum, driven by national targets to expand non-fossil fuel electricity capacity to 500 GW by 2030, strengthen energy independence by 2047, and achieve net-zero emissions by 2070.

Strengthening this national push toward sustainable energy, GREW Solar, one of India’s fastest-growing solar PV manufacturers, has secured a contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for the supply of high-efficiency solar PV modules across multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh.

The cumulative contract value stands at approximately ₹2,028.33 crore, marking one of the largest module supply partnerships under NTPC REL’s current renewable energy program.

GREW Solar will supply advanced, high-efficiency solar PV modules backed by robust quality standards and cutting-edge manufacturing technology for deployment across multiple sites. This project will play a pivotal role in supporting NTPC REL’s renewable energy expansion, while advancing India’s long-term clean energy transition and decarbonisation objectives.
