Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), a technology company, has announced the strategic integration of its Industrial Devices (INDD) and Energy Solutions (ESD) divisions into a single entity called Panasonic Industry & Energy India (PIDEIN).
This move is aimed at improving organizational efficiency, creating synergies, enhancing customer experience, and aligning with Panasonic’s long-term plans for growth in India.
The newly formed PIDEIN will be led by Narayan Kumar, who has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer (CBO). Narayan Kumar, who earlier served as Divisional Director of the Industrial Devices Division, brings extensive experience across multiple B2B domains and a strong customer-focused approach. He will report to Tadashi Chiba, Managing Director and CEO of Panasonic Life Solutions India.

Panasonic’s Industrial Devices Division (INDD) in India specializes in advanced components such as passives, sensors, relays, microswitches, BLDC motors, and automation products including servo systems, PLC, HMI, and sensing solutions. The Energy Solutions Division (ESD) focused on sustainable energy solutions, including lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, renewable energy storage systems, and energy management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
