Polycab India Limited has appointed Shashi Amin as Director (Non-Board Member) and Chief Executive Officer – B2B Channel & Corporate Communication, effective January 5, 2026, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Mr. Amin, aged 58, brings over 37 years of experience in the cable and electrical industry. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Power Systems from Amravati University and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai.
He has previously held senior leadership roles at Apar Industries Limited, BICC Bahrain, and Nicco Corporation Limited. Mr. Amin was also associated with Polycab India earlier, serving from July 2011 to March 2022 as President and SBU Head – Cables.
The appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Bhushan Sawhney, former Executive President and Chief Business Officer – B2B, whose cessation became effective on May 2, 2025.
