Polycab India Limited has appointed Mr. Gyan Pandey as its Executive President and Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO), effective February 16, 2026. The appointment was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
In his new role, Mr. Pandey will oversee the company’s Digital, Information Technology (IT), and cybersecurity functions.
Mr. Gyan Pandey, aged 57, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from the University of Calcutta and has completed various management certifications from IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta. He brings over 25 years of experience in Information and Technology, having held leadership positions at leading organisations such as Voltas, Aurobindo Pharma, and Oracle.
Throughout his career, he has led enterprise-level digital strategies, IoT-driven manufacturing initiatives, data-driven platforms, and scalable AI/Gen AI adoption for business applications.
The company stated that the appointment is on a full-time basis and forms part of its senior management team strengthening.
