Roofsol Energy, a solar solutions provider focused on commercial and industrial deployments, has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for rooftop solar projects totaling 2,950 kW across four Indian states.
The agreements span multiple sectors and locations, with installations planned in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. The signed PPAs are expected to support the adoption of clean energy among industrial and commercial consumers, delivering cost-effective and sustainable power solutions.
According to company officials, the projects will be implemented over the coming months, and rooftop systems will be tailored to suit individual site needs. Roofsol Energy said that the PPAs will enable client partners to transition to renewable energy with minimal upfront investment, while contributing to India’s broader goals for distributed solar generation.
The commercial agreements include long-term tariff commitments that allow businesses to procure solar power at predictable rates over the lifetime of the assets. Roofsol Energy believes the move will help reduce electricity costs and lower carbon footprints for participating customers.
“We are pleased to partner with organizations across multiple states to deploy rooftop solar capacity that will deliver both financial and environmental benefits,” said a company spokesperson. “These PPAs represent our continued commitment to accelerating solar adoption in India’s commercial and industrial sectors.”
The rooftop solar segment has gained momentum as businesses seek renewable alternatives that are cost-competitive and aligned with sustainability targets. With distributed solar capacity growing nationwide, rooftop installations are seen as a key pillar in India’s clean energy transition.
