Sol-Bright has announced the signing of a contract with Rays Power Infra to supply water-free robotic solar panel cleaning systems for the 250 MW NTPC Bikaner Solar PV Project in Rajasthan.
The contract was formalised during the visit of Sol-Bright’s CEO, Mr Xu, to India. Under the agreement, the company will deploy fully automatic, advanced robotic cleaning systems designed specifically for single-axis (1P) tracker installations. The systems aim to improve plant performance while enabling sustainable, water-free operations—an important advantage for large-scale solar projects in arid regions such as Rajasthan.
The deployment of robotic cleaning technology is expected to enhance energy output by ensuring consistent and efficient module cleaning without water consumption, aligning with India’s broader clean energy and resource conservation objectives.
According to the company, commissioning of the systems is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026. The project marks another step toward improving efficiency and sustainability in utility-scale solar power plants.
Sol-Bright said the collaboration reinforces its commitment to supporting India’s renewable energy transition through innovative and environmentally responsible solar technologies.
