SuryaLogix Launches India’s First Indigenous Advanced Pyranometer

India’s electronics manufacturing and renewable energy ecosystem has reached an important milestone as SuryaLogix introduced the country’s first advanced, indigenously developed pyranometer. This achievement highlights the growing capability of Indian startups to deliver globally competitive, high-precision solar measurement instruments under the Make in India initiative.

Designed and manufactured in India, the advanced pyranometer sets new benchmarks in solar irradiance accuracy, long-term reliability, and robust surge protection, addressing the increasing demand for dependable performance data across utility-scale and distributed solar projects. The instrument reflects India’s transition from technology adoption to technology leadership in electronic manufacturing for renewables.

In a further boost to domestic infrastructure, SuryaLogix has also established India’s first NABL-accredited Pyranometer Calibration Laboratory, compliant with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards. This facility enables global-grade calibration within the country, reducing dependence on overseas labs and strengthening India’s self-reliance in precision measurement.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Nitin Gutte, Managing Director, SuryaLogix Pvt. Ltd., noted that the accreditation and product launch represent a proud moment for Indian manufacturing. He emphasized that building strong domestic calibration and measurement capabilities is critical for reliable solar performance data and the sustainable growth of India’s renewable energy sector.

Key Technical Highlights

            •           WRR-calibrated, globally traceable solar measurements

            •           IEC-certified and internationally compliant calibration standards

            •           Integrated surge protection up to ±6 kV (±10 kV optional)

Together, these advancements reinforce India’s position as a trusted manufacturer of high-quality electronic and solar monitoring equipment, improving data integrity, asset performance, and confidence in Indian-made technology across the solar industry.
