Waaree Energies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for the development of a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka. The LoA was issued on Tuesday, and the disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
The project involves the one-time development of a 300 MW wind power facility and has been awarded by a domestic entity. As part of the award, the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will be valid for 25 years from the scheduled commencement of supply date, providing long-term revenue visibility for the project.
According to the company, the order does not involve any promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity and does not fall under related party transactions. The project is aligned with Waaree’s renewable energy expansion strategy and strengthens its presence in India’s wind power segment.
