KP Group is taking forward its renewable energy collaboration with Saudi Arabia following a high-level engagement between a Saudi business delegation and Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
The development comes after KP Group’s recent visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where discussions were initiated on potential opportunities and partnerships in the renewable energy sector. As a follow-up to those discussions, KP Group facilitated a meeting between the Saudi delegation and the Maharashtra Chief Minister to explore avenues for investment and collaboration in the state.
The Saudi delegation comprised Mr. Riyaadh Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board, Raz Holding Group; Mr. Abdulqader Al-Mashhour, Advisor; Dr. Badr Al-Subaihi, Advisor and Chief Executive Officer, Siad Al; and Mr. Rakan Alabdali, Chairman’s Office Manager and Visit Coordinator.
The engagement is expected to strengthen the emerging KP Group–Saudi partnership and explore opportunities for the Government of Maharashtra to support potential investments and renewable energy projects arising from the collaboration.
KP Group already has a growing presence in Maharashtra, including its 100 MW MAHAGENCO project, while several additional renewable energy opportunities are being explored for the future.
The meeting highlights the growing scope for international partnerships in India’s clean energy sector, particularly as states seek to attract investments and accelerate renewable energy deployment.
KP Group expressed confidence that stronger collaboration among industry players, governments and international partners can help unlock new investments and contribute to India’s transition towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
The latest engagement marks another step in the journey that began in Riyadh and is now expanding into potential opportunities across Maharashtra and India’s renewable energy landscape.
