ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned a combined 107.36 MW/437.49 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity across two firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects in Rajasthan, with commercial operation declared from October 2, 2026.

The commissioned capacity comprises Phase III of the BESS component at ACME’s Bikaner project and Phase I of the BESS component at its Chittorgarh project. Both capacities were commissioned through separate wholly owned subsidiaries on September 30, 2026.

ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited commissioned 53.63 MW/214.52 MWh of BESS capacity at its FDRE project in Village Kelan, Tehsil Chhatargarh, District Bikaner, Rajasthan. The commissioned capacity forms part of the project’s 300 MW/1,200 MWh total BESS discharge capacity.

The commercial operation date for the commissioned capacity is October 2, 2026. With this addition, ACME Greentech Seventh has achieved cumulative commissioned BESS capacity of 159.58 MW/638.32 MWh.

A power purchase agreement (PPA) for the Bikaner project has been signed with SJVN Limited.

ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited commissioned 53.73 MW/222.969 MWh of BESS capacity under Phase I of its FDRE project at Village Neemri, Tehsil Rawatbhata, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The capacity forms part of the project’s total 250 MW/1,069 MWh BESS discharge capacity.

The BESS component was commissioned on September 30, 2026, with a commercial operation date of October 2, 2026. The company said only the BESS component has been commissioned at present, while the corresponding renewable energy generation component remains under development.
