Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised an aggregate 307.4 MW of renewable power projects at Khavda, Gujarat, through its various step-down subsidiaries.
With the commissioning of these projects, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 17,237.2 MW, reinforcing the company’s leadership position in India’s renewable energy sector.
In a regulatory filing made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company stated that, upon receipt of the requisite statutory clearances, a decision was taken at 7:47 a.m. on December 31, 2025, to operationalise the projects. Power generation from these plants has commenced from January 1, 2026.
The Khavda projects form a key part of AGEL’s long-term renewable energy expansion strategy and contribute significantly to India’s clean energy transition and capacity addition targets.
