ADM Solar Power has secured an order to supply 24.5 MW of high-efficiency solar panels for government-backed solar projects across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, strengthening its presence in the utility and public-sector renewable energy segment.
The order includes projects under the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) and the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana (MTSKP) of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), as well as PM KUSUM Component-C projects in Madhya Pradesh.
Of the total capacity, 3.2 MW of solar panels will be deployed for PM KUSUM Component-C projects in Madhya Pradesh, while the remaining capacity will support MEDA and MTSKP projects in Maharashtra. These installations form part of state and central government initiatives aimed at accelerating solar adoption, reducing reliance on conventional power sources, and promoting energy self-reliance, particularly in the agricultural sector.
The projects will be powered by Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) compliant solar panels from ADM Solar Power, including 500Wp, 520Wp and 525Wp Mono PERC mono-facial modules. These high-efficiency modules are designed to deliver optimal performance, reliability and long-term energy generation, while supporting the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative.
In Maharashtra, the supplied panels will be used to promote decentralised solar power generation, ease the financial burden on the state’s power distribution system, and provide farmers with reliable daytime solar electricity. The projects are also expected to contribute to reduced carbon emissions and lower peak power demand, supporting the state’s renewable energy targets.
In Madhya Pradesh, the PM KUSUM Component-C deployment will help replace or supplement conventional grid power with solar energy for agricultural use. The initiative aims to reduce farmers’ dependence on diesel and inconsistent power supply, lower electricity subsidies and operational costs for state utilities, and enhance income stability and energy security in rural areas.
The successful execution of these projects is expected to increase renewable energy capacity in both states, reduce environmental impact, and improve overall energy security. By supplying domestically manufactured, high-performance solar modules for government-led initiatives, ADM Solar Power is contributing to sustainable growth, clean energy expansion, and the broader national goal of energy independence.
