Q1. ASOT Solar offers N-type TOPCon modules like the “Gandiv / Gandiv+” lines. What are the key innovations or cell & module features that set your products apart (e.g., efficiency, degradation, durability), and how do you test them under Indian climate conditions?
Our Gandiv and Gandiv+ modules are built on advanced N-type TOPCon cell technology that delivers up to 22.9% module efficiency with lower LID and LeTID degradation, and maximum output, minimum loss, ensuring superior long-term energy yield. Each module undergoes stringent in-house reliability tests simulating high heat, humidity, and dust conditions typical of Indian climates. Additionally, we conduct field performance validation across multiple zones to ensure real-world reliability, reduced temperature coefficients, and maximum durability even in extreme environments.
Q2. Your manufacturing facility in Surat has been a strong base for ASOT Solar. Could you share the current production capacity, the expansion roadmap (such as the 2.2 GW target by 2025), and the major challenges you anticipate in scaling up operations?
Our Surat-based facility currently operates with a 0.6 GW annual production capacity, scalable to 2.2 GW by 2025. The roadmap includes integration of fully automated production lines and advanced quality control systems. While the main challenges lie in raw material logistics and skilled workforce expansion, ASOT is addressing them through strategic supplier partnerships and advanced automation to maintain high consistency and throughput.
Q3. ASOT provides end-to-end solar solutions (EPC, module supply, installations) for homes, businesses, and large solar projects. At the system/EPC level, how do you ensure system performance, quality control, and warranty support across all segments?
We ensure EPC excellence through design optimization, certified installation teams, and AI-driven performance monitoring tools. Every system undergoes a multi-level inspection process and is backed by a 30-year performance warranty on modules. Our dedicated after-sales support and AMC services provide seamless warranty claim assistance and ensure optimal generation across the system’s lifetime.
Q4. With government policy and incentives shifting (for rooftop, open access, etc.), how is ASOT adjusting its go-to market strategy and product offerings to match changing demand segments (residential, C&I, utility)?
ASOT is strategically aligned with policy-driven market dynamics. For the residential sector, we focus on awareness and simplified rooftop packages. In the C&I segment, we emphasize high-efficiency, space-saving solutions and OPEX models. For utility-scale projects, we are exploring partnerships for higher-voltage systems and energy storage integration. Our agile approach ensures we stay relevant to evolving policy and demand trends.
Q5. In the context of REI Expo or similar solar/renewables showcases, which product or tech breakthroughs will ASOT be presenting, and how do you expect this to attract EPCs, IPPs, or global buyers?
At REI, ASOT Solar is proud to unveil its latest innovation — the PINAK Series, featuring N-Type TOPCon 16BB technology. This range includes both Glass-to-Backsheet and Glass-to-Glass (Pink Edge) variants, delivering 610Wp to 630Wp power output with superior bifacial power gain and enhanced durability.
With 15 years of product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty, the PINAK series sets new benchmarks in reliability and efficiency. Our showcase at REI highlights ASOT’s commitment to “Made-in-India excellence”, combining world-class performance with local manufacturing strength. We expect this new range to attract EPCs, IPPs, and international buyers seeking advanced, high-yield modules designed for India’s diverse climatic conditions and global export potential.
Q6. Looking ahead 3–5 years, what is ASOT’s roadmap for integrating new technologies—such as bifacial modules, high voltage systems, and module + storage combos—and expanding into export markets?
Over the next 3–5 years, ASOT will expand its product portfolio with bifacial, high-wattage, and high-voltage compatible modules, as well as integrated solar + storage solutions. We are actively working to strengthen our export footprint across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia, supported by international certifications and localized service partnerships. Our vision is to establish ASOT Solar as a global symbol of reliability and innovation in renewable energy.
