CollarEV Unveils ‘Moon’ Electric Two-Wheeler for Delivery Segment

CollarEV has introduced ‘Moon’, a purpose-built electric two-wheeler designed specifically for the B2B delivery and logistics segment. The new electric vehicle aims to meet the growing demand for reliable, cost-effective, and durable electric mobility solutions for last-mile delivery and commercial applications.

India’s two-wheeler market surpassed 20 million units in sales in 2025, while electric two-wheelers accounted for approximately 1.4 million units, indicating strong potential for EV adoption. Despite this growth, much of the electric two-wheeler market has largely focused on consumer mobility, leaving the commercial delivery segment relatively underserved.

The Moon electric two-wheeler has been designed to support demanding commercial use cases, particularly for delivery services and fleet operators. The vehicle offers a range of around 135 km on a single charge and is powered by a 51.2 V, 45 Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a capacity of 2.3 kWh.

The EV supports fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0-80 percent in approximately two hours and reach full charge in about 2.5 hours, making it suitable for high-utilisation fleet operations.

Powered by a BLDC hub motor, the electric two-wheeler delivers 1500 W rated power and 2200 W peak power, enabling a top speed of 50 km/h. The vehicle generates 95 Nm torque at the wheel, ensuring strong load-carrying performance for commercial usage.

Designed for rugged applications, the electric vehicle features dual disc brakes, 12-inch wheels, and a payload capacity of up to 150 kg, making it suitable for logistics and delivery services.

The Moon electric two-wheeler incorporates smart fleet management features, including a TFT display with integrated telematics for asset tracking and fleet monitoring. Additional features such as keyless start and stop functionality enhance convenience and operational efficiency for delivery riders.

The platform further supports multi-utility attachment options, allowing businesses to customise the vehicle for various logistics and delivery requirements.

According to Tikendra Yadav, the company aims to address gaps in the B2B electric mobility market in India.

“Much of the B2B electric two-wheeler market currently relies on low-cost imported vehicles that often face durability and service challenges. Our goal with Moon is to offer a purpose-built electric vehicle with a minimalist yet robust design that reduces maintenance while ensuring long-term reliability. The fully metal chassis and body structure make it particularly suitable for demanding commercial operations,” Yadav said.

The electric vehicle is powered by an LFP battery pack capable of delivering more than 1000 charging cycles, ensuring a longer operational lifespan. The company offers a lifetime battery replacement or upgrade option integrated with IoT-based monitoring systems, enabling real-time battery health and performance tracking.

In addition, CollarEV is currently testing supercapacitor-assisted battery technology to further improve charging speed, durability, and lifecycle performance.

The initial rollout will focus on Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities as well as rural and semi-urban markets, where demand for durable and affordable electric mobility solutions continues to grow. The vehicle is expected to be priced between INR 79,999 and INR 89,999, with pre-bookings available online through the company’s official website.
