Constant Energy, a leading independent power producer dedicated to accelerating Asia’s clean energy transition, and SCAVI Hue, a key industrial developer under the B’lao Group, recently celebrated the official inauguration of a 1.245 MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic system.
This project is now operating and reducing CO2 emissions; it will generate clean electricity for SCAVI’s operations for decades to come.
As a leading French group that excels in global outsourcing services across various industries such as lingerie, underwear, swimwear, sportswear, and protective clothing, SCAVI is in charge of outsourcing the design, technical modelism-fitting, materials sourcing, and production organisation.
By working with well-known brands such as Armani, Versace, DIM, Decathlon, Hanesbrands, Adore Me, and Vanity Fair, sustainable and ethically responsible manufacturing is not just an option, but has long been one of SCAVI’s core priorities to meet key partners’ requirements.
The newly inaugurated solar installation, situated at SCAVI Hue’s facility at Phong Dien industrial zone, is a direct response to that imperative, proving SCAVI Hue’s commitment to green energy and sustainable manufacturing. The project is designed to generate clean electricity, reduce its carbon footprint and support SCAVI as it meets the growing demand for sustainable practices.
This collaboration also highlights Constant Energy’s expertise in developing, financing, and operating distributed generation assets for commercial and industrial partners. “Today marks a significant milestone in our mission to partner with industrial leaders like SCAVI in Vietnam,” said Oscar Loza, Country Manager of Constant Energy Vietnam. “Our collaboration with SCAVI Hue goes beyond an energy project; it is a shared vision for a sustainable future. Nguyen Chuyen Toan, Construction Projects and Maintenance Director of B’lao Group, reflected on the partnership’s journey: “Initially, SCAVI planned to invest in a transformer station. However, through our work with Constant Energy, they advised us on the rooftop solar power full solution, which has since resulted in significant operational cost savings for SCAVI. The project we inaugurate today is the first in a series of initiatives to green the production processes of SCAVI and B’lao Group in the future, and we hope to continue our journey alongside Constant Energy.“
