ECE Solar has announced a strategic collaboration with leading German technology organizations Von Ardenne and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (Fraunhofer ISE), marking a significant step toward strengthening advanced solar cell manufacturing capabilities in India.
The company stated that the collaboration aligns with its vision to support India’s clean energy transition and domestic manufacturing ambitions. ECE Solar has evolved from a regional clean energy initiative into a future-focused renewable energy company, with a strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
Through this partnership, the companies aim to establish a foundation for cooperation in next-generation photovoltaic technologies. The collaboration will explore advanced solar cell solutions, including Heterojunction (HJT) solar cells, Back Contact (xBC) technologies, Perovskite solar cells, and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) using Morpho Color.
The initiative is expected to contribute to the development of high-efficiency solar technologies and support India’s efforts to build a robust, self-reliant solar manufacturing ecosystem.
