EKA Mobility, in consortium with GreenCell Mobility, has been awarded the Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply and deployment of 915 electric buses in Hyderabad. The project will be executed under the Government of India’s CESL-led PM E-DRIVE (Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement) scheme.
It will see the rollout of 100, 9m and 815, 12m standard floor non-AC electric buses, designed to cater to diverse urban transit requirements. These fully electric, zero-emission buses are engineered for efficient, reliable, and passenger-friendly city operations.

The PM E-DRIVE scheme is a flagship Government of India initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles, strengthening domestic manufacturing, and reducing urban pollution.
