1. Bhasu Energy has built its business around solar product distribution. What are the key factors driving the company’s growth in the Indian solar market?

Bhasu Energy’s growth is being driven by a combination of the rapidly expanding Indian solar market and our focused approach to distribution. India’s solar industry is moving at an unprecedented pace, with installed solar capacity reaching around 168 GW by August 2026, while rooftop solar is experiencing particularly strong momentum.

At Bhasu, we have positioned ourselves as a specialised solar-product distribution company, with a clear objective of bridging the gap between manufacturers and customers. Our technical expertise in solar inverters, PV modules, power electronics and project applications enables us to understand customer requirements and provide technically and commercially suitable solutions.

Another important factor is our emphasis on product availability and responsive service. In a project-driven industry, timely availability of the right product can directly influence project execution. We are therefore investing in regional inventory, distribution infrastructure and channel development to strengthen our ability to serve customers across India.

Our multi-brand approach is also helping us address different market segments, from residential and rooftop solar to commercial, industrial and utility-scale projects. Rather than being limited to a single technology or manufacturer, we aim to offer customers a broader and more relevant portfolio.

Most importantly, we believe our growth comes from building long-term relationships. Our objective is not simply to sell a product; it is to become a dependable partner for EPCs, installers, developers and channel partners by combining product knowledge, availability, commercial support and technical understanding.

Going forward, Bhasu Energy intends to strengthen its PAN-India distribution network, expand its product portfolio and continue investing in people, technology and infrastructure. We see our role as creating a more efficient connection between quality solar products and the rapidly growing customer base driving India’s clean-energy transition.

2. Bhasu Energy works with brands such as Polycab Inverters, Waaree PV modules and TrackSo. How do you evaluate and select technology partners for your portfolio?

At Bhasu Energy, we evaluate technology partners from a long-term business and customer perspective. Price is important, but it is only one part of our evaluation. Our objective is to build a portfolio of products and brands that we can confidently recommend to our customers and support throughout the product lifecycle.

We primarily evaluate partners on five key parameters: product technology and quality, market competitiveness, reliability and service support, supply-chain capability, and the long-term commitment of the brand to the Indian market.

We also look at the partner’s willingness to grow with us. We prefer relationships where both organisations are prepared to invest in market development, technical training, channel development and customer support rather than focusing only on transactional sales.

Our associations with brands such as Polycab Inverters, Waaree PV modules and TrackSo reflect this approach. Each partnership should add a distinct value proposition to our portfolio and, most importantly, help us provide a more comprehensive solution to our customers.

Ultimately, our philosophy is simple: we do not want to build a portfolio around brands alone; we want to build it around technologies and partnerships that we can stand behind.

3. With products ranging from solar modules and inverters to ACDB/DCDB, cables and other BOS components, how are customer requirements influencing your product portfolio?

Customer requirements are one of the strongest drivers of our product portfolio. At Bhasu Energy, we continuously engage with EPCs, installers, developers and channel partners to understand what they need—not only in terms of individual products, but also in terms of complete project execution.

The market is increasingly looking for convenience, compatibility, availability and accountability from a single distribution partner. This is why our portfolio has evolved beyond solar modules and inverters to include ACDB/DCDB, cables and other balance-of-system components. Our objective is to enable customers to source a larger portion of their solar requirements through one reliable channel.

We also closely monitor changes in project sizes, application requirements, government programmes, technology trends and customer expectations. For example, the growing rooftop market requires products that are easy to install, reliable, technically compatible and readily available, while C&I and utility-scale projects demand higher-capacity equipment, stronger system integration and dependable supply planning.

Ultimately, our portfolio is being shaped by a simple principle: listen to the customer, identify the gap and build the right product solution around it. This customer-led approach allows Bhasu Energy to remain agile as the Indian solar market evolves.

4. Bhasu Energy highlights ready stock and timely delivery as key strengths. How are you strengthening your supply-chain and distribution network to meet growing demand?

Ready stock and timely delivery are central to our distribution strategy because, in the solar industry, a delay in material can directly affect project execution. As our business grows, we are therefore strengthening the supply chain not only by increasing inventory, but by creating a more structured and geographically distributed distribution network.

Our approach is based on regional inventory planning, demand forecasting and faster replenishment. We analyse demand by product category, rating and geography so that the right products are positioned closer to the markets where they are required. This helps us reduce lead times while maintaining healthier inventory levels.

As we scale, our objective is to build a distribution network where product availability, delivery speed and operational reliability become repeatable capabilities rather than individual efforts. We believe this will allow Bhasu Energy to support customers more effectively while creating a scalable foundation for PAN-India growth.

5. Your portfolio includes TrackSo’s cloud-based solar monitoring platform. How important is digital monitoring and remote asset management for improving solar plant performance?

Digital monitoring is becoming increasingly important as the Indian solar industry moves from simply adding capacity to improving the long-term performance of installed assets.

A solar plant may operate for 20–25 years, but its performance can be affected by a number of factors—equipment faults, communication failures, inverter downtime, soiling, shading, abnormal generation and delayed maintenance. Without continuous visibility, identifying these issues can take time and result in avoidable generation losses.

Platforms such as TrackSo’s cloud-based monitoring solution help provide real-time visibility of plant performance, allowing stakeholders to monitor generation, identify abnormalities and respond to issues remotely. This becomes particularly valuable as the size and geographical spread of solar portfolios increase.

Our association with TrackSo reflects this direction. We believe the future of solar distribution is not only about supplying reliable hardware—it is about helping customers extract maximum value and performance from those assets throughout their operating life.
