Kinetic Engineering Limited has announced a ₹40 crore capital infusion from its promoter group, aimed at strengthening the company’s expansion in electric mobility and automotive component manufacturing.
The investment has been made through the conversion of warrants, subject to regulatory approvals.
Following the transaction, the promoter shareholding in the company has increased to 65 percent, reflecting stronger promoter commitment toward the company’s long-term growth strategy and transformation in the evolving mobility ecosystem.
The additional capital will support the company’s efforts to expand its presence in electric vehicle components, battery systems, and precision engineering solutions for global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
According to Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic Engineering, the investment highlights the promoter group’s continued confidence in the company’s strategy as the automotive industry rapidly shifts toward electric mobility. He added that the funds will be used to strengthen ongoing projects and accelerate investments in technology, manufacturing, and innovation.
The capital infusion also supports the company’s broader expansion plans, including scaling up operations related to its electric mobility initiatives and automotive component business. Kinetic Engineering continues to supply components to several domestic and global OEMs while positioning itself to play a larger role in the growing electric mobility ecosystem.
