Shakti Pumps receives Letter of Empanelment to supply 34,720 Off-Grid Solar Water Pumping Systems under PM-KUSUM B scheme in Maharashtra.

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (SPIL) has announced that following the receipt of a Letter of Empanelment on 12th August 2025 for the supply and installation of 34,720 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM KUSUM B, Shakti Pumps has witnessed an overwhelming response from farmers across Maharashtra.


On 27th August 2025, MSEDCL opened its portal for the first tranche of 10,000 SPWPS, which were fully booked by farmers within just 1.5 hours, reflecting strong trust in Shakti Pumps’ technology and service excellence.

The total value of this tranche was approximately INR 268.88 Crores (inclusive of GST). Building on this momentum, MSEDCL
opened the portal for a second tranche of 12,451 SPWPS, which were again fully selected by farmers. This tranche is valued at approximately INR 347.41 Crores (inclusive of GST).


With 22,451 SPWPS already booked across two tranches valuing the total order to Rs. 616.30 Crores (inclusive of
GST), Shakti Pumps is well on its way to fulfilling the empanelled commitment of 34,720 SPWPS under the scheme.
