Q1. Could you elaborate on the design and engineering behind the ‘Solera Trail JB’ junction box line, particularly the innovations that enable it to handle up to 1500 V DC and currents between 25A to 35 A?

The Solera Trio JB is designed with high-voltage DC safety and efficiency in mind. Its compact architecture incorporates advanced materials for insulation, optimized thermal management, and high-quality connectors to safely handle currents up to 40A. The junction box also features robust surge protection, waterproofing, and UV-resistant casing, ensuring reliable performance in diverse environmental conditions.

Q2. How has the company scaled production to 15,000 sets PV junction boxes per day while ensuring consistent quality, particularly in terms of casing durability and weather resistance & Scheduled dispatches?

Solera Technologies combines automated manufacturing lines with rigorous quality assurance protocols. Each junction box undergoes stringent electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing—including UV, humidity, and thermal cycling—to maintain consistent durability and weather resistance. Our production process integrates traceability at every stage, ensuring high standards for every unit leaving the factory. Our company has opened warehouses at different locations around India to maintain quick delivery to our customers and we week ready stock of around 200 thousand JB’s at a time at Jaipur, which can be immediately dispatched.

Q3. How does your company plan to meet the growing demand for solar energy in both utility-scale and residential projects, in India and across global markets?

We are expanding our production capacity from 4 GW to 8 GW before December 2025 and distribution network to serve domestic and international markets. We aim to ensure timely delivery, technical support, and innovation-driven solutions for all market segments.

Q4. How is the growing demand for solar energy in India and globally shaping your company’s strategies to address the evolving needs of utility-scale and residential solar projects?

The rapid growth of solar deployment is driving us to enhance product reliability, integrate smart monitoring features, and adopt modular designs for easier installation and maintenance. We are also investing in R&D to ensure our junction boxes meet emerging standards and can support higher-voltage systems, enabling developers to scale projects efficiently while reducing operational risks.

Q5. At REI 2025, what key partnerships or collaborations is the company aiming to establish, and are there specific regions or sectors where you anticipate significant growth opportunities for your products?

At REI 2025, we aim to strengthen collaborations with module manufacturers, EPC companies, and distributors across India. Will introduce SOLERA to new customers with detailed information regarding our products, certifications & quality parameters.  We have established strategic partnerships with leading players globally to strengthen innovation efforts in solar PV junction boxes. We aim to develop cutting-edge solutions for the renewable energy industry. As India’s premier provider of photovoltaic solutions, Solera Technologies has partnered with various organizations to enhance its product offerings and expand its global footprint. We will focus on developing end-to-end solar PV solutions, including PV junction boxes, solar PV connectors. These collaborations will demonstrate our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Q6. What are the most pressing challenges in junction box design and performance within the solar industry, and how is your company addressing these through its current and upcoming products?

Key challenges include, increase of Wattage of panels which leads  to  high-voltage reliability, temperature management, environmental protection of JB. Solera addresses these through robust thermal and surge protection, UV- and water-resistant casings, and modular, easy-to-install designs. Our R&D continues to focus on higher-voltage capabilities, smart monitoring integration, and long-term durability, ensuring our products keep pace with evolving industry demands.
